Bath Time!!!

Today was Owen's spa day! He experienced his first ever sponge bath!!! It was really neat how the nurse had us do it - we swadled him, and then submerged him (blanket and all) into a small bin of warm water.

This allowed us to keep his core body temperature up - while we cleaned one part of his body (his arms, for example) his lower body was still fully wrapped up in the warm/wet blanket. It worked perfectly - and he LOVED it! We took turns washing him - when Daddy was washing his neck, Owen kept turning his head as though he was saying, "Don't forget this part, Daddy!"

Also, his kidney ultrasound results are back and (as expected) they look great! Yea!

Here is a shot of the awesome poster/door decoration the team at my office made for Owen. Every visitor signs a nice message to Owen - we'll move the poster to his nursery once he goes home. Thanks team!!!

Finally, here is a shot of Owen I took yesterday. I think he was telling mom to leave him alone so he could get some beauty rest!
