We created this blog to help family and friends from around the country stay up to date with our growing family. After the emergency c-section delivery of Owen on January 20th, 2010 (at 27 weeks gestation - 2lb 10 oz), this blog had an entirely new purpose - to keep family and friends up to date with his progress while he fought his way out of NICU (he was discharged after 77 long days)! I hope that my child, looking back on today Will remember a mother who had time to play;Because children grow up while you're not looking, There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.

So happy to hear how well Owen is doing! As soon as I found out you were going in for an emergency c-section I instantly prayed little Owen would be a fighter! I am so glad to know that prayer has been answered. We continue to pray for you all as this will continue to be a journey for a while. So thankful that God is providing the strength necessary to travel this road.
