Bath Time & Nursing Progress!

Owen had another great day today. His stats have stayed steady all day, with his monitors barely going off at all! It's so exciting. The nurse told us that most likely at this point they will let him outgrow his caffeine dosage and begin weening him off of it (to prove he can do it sans medicine!)

Owen also took a bath today. Our nurse had a new baby admitted at the same time as bath time, so we did everything on our own! It was pretty difficult compared to a normal baby bath (there are cords EVERYWHERE) but we did awesome and Owen had a great time. He was so content the entire time! It was adorable. The only part he hates is getting out of the bath - I have to agree. That is the worst part!

Owen also did a great job nursing. A lactation consultant came down and gave us some pointers and he did awesome! He still isn't getting much milk, but every day is progress!

Here is the shot of the day. He always sleeps like this with his hands up by his head....love it! His cheeks are getting much more chubby and kissable, aren't they?
