Today was beautiful. Mid 60's and sunny! It was also 'going home' day in the NICU, just sadly not for us! A family that had been in the NICU for 120+ days finally got to go home today. We were so happy for them! However, they were the 'old' folks on the block. Now that they are gone, there are only two families in the NICU that have been there more days than we have. Those two factors combined (sunny weather and going home day) made today a hard day for us! We're so ready to head home with Owen, but know we still have a while to go before it's our turn.
We're making steady progress however! Owen took 34 cc's of food from a bottle today! His total feeds are also now increased to 45 cc's (up one from yesterday).
Grow Owen Grow!!!!
