50 days old!

Owen is 50 days old today! Hard to believe we have spent the past 50 days of our lives in the NICU, but boy oh boy have we come a long way! Owen had another stellar day today. He did four 'nipple' feedings in a row today and did great! He breastfed first at 11am (unfortunately didn't transfer much), then bottle fed at 2 and finished about half of the bottle. At 5pm, he finished an entire bottle! Finally, at 8pm, he finished about half of the bottle. Boy was he pooped at the end of the day! He was so tired. He's going to sleep really well tonight! The night nurse (Wendy) is planning to let Owen sleep through all of his feedings tonight (and feed him via gavage) so he can rest and be ready to practice nipple feeding tomorrow.
