GO Green!

Yea for the MI State win tonight! It's been fun having the tournament up on the tv in Owen's room the past few days. It makes life feel a little more normal. One of our favorite primary nurses - Wendy - also went to MI State. Turns out she lived in a dorm right next to Rory while they were going to school (at the same time!) It has been fun to chat about how MI is doing with her. Hopefully they make it pretty far in the tournament!

We went in pretty late today to see Owen. I had to conduct training all day, so Rory worked longer hours from home and we went in together around 4. The day nurse Nikki told us Owen had a good day. He's starting to have a few more desaturations now that he is off of caffeine, but they are all still self-resolving (which means they don't require intervention to get him to breath again!) so the nursing team is not concerned.

Our interview with the second pediatrician went well yesterday. She was really laid back in the areas we were concerned about and we seemed to be on the same page. There are still a few pediatricians that have been recommended to us from friends, so we might interview a few more, but we are happy with the woman/team we met yesterday as a first option.

Finally, Owen is up to 55cc's per feeding! He is doing OK with his bottle feeding, doing about half a bottle every other feed.
