Life is so good. Owen is growing like a weed (he's averaging about an ounce a day) and is sticking to his 'every three hours' schedule, which we love. His pediatrician appointment on Monday went well - he received his first immunization shot and he did so good! It's sad, but I think all of the time he spent in the NICU has made him a really tough cookie! He ran a low grade fever Monday night and, like a new mom, I worried, but he was OK. We even called the 24-Hour nurse hotline and verified his 99 degree temp wasn't too high. :)
We began interviewing nannies today. After three months of crazy schedules, it's time for life to resume in a somewhat more organized manner. So, we posed some ads and had quite a few great applications. We interviewed some candidates and think we found the perfect fit! She is coming next week to do a 'test' day, and if it works out she will start next week. Yea! It will be part time (a few hours a day) - just enough for us to get stuff done for work, but it will leave plenty of time for us to spend with Owen!
As you can tell, we have definitely slowed down these posts. We're trying to find a happy medium with posting and honestly - I'm having so much fun snuggling with Owen it's hard to make myself get back on my laptop!
Finally - our quiz is done! Everyone was very diplomatic with their cotes - with 'Both' being the clear winner! For those that couldn't tell, Baby A was Rory, and Baby B was me!
Owen is 12 weeks old today!
